Daffodils

I love when the daffodils come up. These were in the grocery this week and I couldn't resist. In one of my favorite vintage hobnail glass vases.

It has been so warm and the signs of spring continue to pop up! Now how to keep the deer from eating them.

PIG

I had felted this sweater last year to make this pig. I had seen it on Martha Stewart's web site, with the pattern. My bedroom door sneaks open, so I will use this as a door stop.

Here is the little pig guarding the bedroom door!

I had the most fun getting to know Vivienne, my swap partner from Northern Ireland! I made this tea towel for her with bunnies on it. She has a web page called 'Green Rabbit'

SPRING

Today is a beautiful day, quite warm. The first signs of spring are here. YEAH!

I baked this yummy blood orange cranberry cake this weekend. Unfortunately the blood orange turned the icing a strange pepto bismol pink color. But it still tasted good!

New Rug

This is my beaytiful new runner for the upstairs hall. I absolutely love the colors. I bought it on e-bay, which i also love but can sometimes be dangerous!

I learned how to make this from "attic 24" blog. The directions are sooo easy to follow. She is a great instructor! I wish I had more time to work on it!
